FileCatalyst Spaces Provides the following features.
File Submission: Receiving files from external sources is a critical process to many organizations.
But if files are sent ad-hoc via email, standard FTP or
physical media, they can go missing, with zero tracking or accountability.
Adding FileCatalyst Spaces to your web presence gives you the
ability to track not only delivery of these files, but their progress through your organization's workflow.
Once the files are submitted, you can create an automatic workflow by launching a script or by taking advantage
of the XML, JSON files that contain all the job, user and file information.
Email Distribution: Email attachments have size limitations, and other online services don't provide a high level of security
and private tracking. Using FileCatalyst Spaces, users may send files of any size to anybody with an email address.
The entire process is tracked within FileCatalyst Spaces, allowing users and administrators to see the status of the transfer
task as it progresses.
Online File Sharing:
For the users or group of users that require a web based collaboration space.
FileCatalyst Workflow can also provide Online File Areas that can be tracked centrally.
All the group folder data, is accessible via standard directory on your local disk.
All the changes to Group Folders are tracked and group members can be automatically notified
via email when the contents of their web folder changes.
File transfer Automation via HotFolder or API:
Automating file transfers is a breeze with FileCatalyst Spaces. By using either the HotFolder, or Java/REST API,
file transfers can be scheduled and automated. Automated tasks can be either at a job level or just simply by uploading
files to one of the File Areas.
Transferring files to a cloud object storage:
FileCatalyst Spaces offers integration with many Object Storage vendors, including: Amazon S3, Azure Blob, Wasabi,
Google Cloud Storage and Backblaze B2. FileCatalyst Spaces supports both uploads and downloads to cloud object storage by using:
web based transfer tools, automation with Hotfolder, or Java API.
